Empowering Musicians
About Allegro Academy
Our Story
In music, “allegro” means “fast, lively, and cheerful.” Allegro Academy strives to inspire feelings of joy and community through our mission to uplift, inspire, and make music accessible to everyone, regardless of income or background.
Allegro Academy exists to address the lack of access to music education in underserved communities. We see many students eager to learn but lacking access to quality instruction, and we are closing that gap. Drawing on decades of experience in music education, technology, and public service, we built Allegro Academy to connect passionate students with exceptional teachers, overcoming barriers of distance and cost to make music education accessible for all.
Our Core Values
Empathy
We believe in understanding and embracing the unique challenges musicians face, showing empathy in all our interactions and decisions.
Community
Fostering a sense of belonging and support within the musical community, we prioritize collaboration and inclusivity in all our programs.
Excellence
Striving for excellence in everything we do, we are committed to upholding the highest standards of music education and mentorship.
